A Tour of Italian Opera

Opera Boston is pleased to be a part of the 2011 Waterfront Performing Arts Series, presented by the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Tourism, and Special Events. The performance is free and open to all!

 Join engaging young Opera Boston artists for a tour of Italian opera through the ages. They’ll perform some of the greatest Italian and Italian-language opera highlights—arias, duets, and even a sextet—from the seventeenth century to the dawn of the twentieth. Great composers from all over the world have written Italian operatic masterpieces: Donizetti, Rossini, Puccini, Handel, Mozart, and more! Don’t miss this fun-filled evening in the beautiful North End—we look forward to seeing you there!
